Coronavirus: state of emergency in the United States

Surrounded by his vice president and CEOs in the healthcare and retail sectors, Donald Trump declared a state of emergency Friday, March 13. Then, ignoring all the gestures of caution, he shakes hands one by one with all the CEOs, until one of them prefers to show him his elbow. Then the journalists interrogate the American president who was in contact with several infected people, but who refused to be tested.

“I never said I didn't want to be tested. I will probably do it”, assures the American president. Republicans and Democrats have managed to agree to release 45 billion euros to deal with the Covid-19 epidemic. The plan provides free testing for everyone who needs to be tested. In a country where millions of Americans have no health coverage, the agreement also provides for two weeks of paid vacation and work stoppages for medical reasons.
