Dijon creates the feat by overthrowing Paris Saint-Germain

With a shock of extremes, it was expected that the first, Paris, easily take over the last, Dijon. But the uncertainty of the sport has hit. The DFCO put down the Paris Saint-Germain after a match ended (2-1). PSG, which had demonstrated its superiority against Marseille last Sunday (4-0), began to play once led. Just before the Champions League match against Bruges on Wednesday, the Parisians, deprived of Thiago Silva, so bow a third time in Ligue 1, after Rennes and Reims.

What to remember from the match:

Dijon has achieved an ideal beginning of meeting combining desire, seriousness and daring. After a quarter of an hour of play, the DFCO had shot four times (all squared), while the PSG, little legs, had never tried his luck. But in a flash, the Parisians reversed the steam: Angel Di Maria smuggler for Kylian Mbappé scorer (18th). An increasingly regular scenario. The opener did not free Parisians purring, guilty of technical errors in transmissions. In front, Dijon did not resign himself, despite the loss of Chefik and Coulibaly on wounds. Players, the Burgundians are rewarded by equalizing just before the break by Mounir Chouiar, on the lookout for a center repulsed by Keylor Navas (45 + 5e).

PSG lacks success

After the break, the PSG is picked cold by Jhonder Cadiz (47th). The Venezuelan made a big number in front of a somewhat passive Paris defense, before placing the ball between Navas' legs. Led by the red lantern, the PSG tried to react by provoking more and more. But success has fled the champions of France. They multiplied the unsuccessful assaults: two amounts found by Icardi and Paredes, and two strikes not framed by the Italian striker and Di Maria.

With such a score, the intensity has increased sharply in the last quarter of an hour with many races on both sides. Edinson Cavani, came into play, tried to tip the match, to no avail. The Dijonnais prove heroic to maintain their lead, and validate an improbable feat.

The fact: the middle of Paris drowned

Thomas Tuchel is an unconditional fan of Marco Verratti. It is easy to understand as his environment struggling against Dijon without the Italian, extended until 2024. The midfield Paris has not responded present. Leandro Paredes was in trouble. Idrissa Gueye, back from injury, did not have its usual physical impact. And Juan Bernat seemed a little lost in a singular position for him. The absences of Verratti but also ofAnder Herrera have weighed heavily, breaking the binder displayed on previous performances.

The number: 1

Dijon has recently experienced many difficulties facing Paris Saint-Germain. In January 2018, the DFCO cashed a scathing 8-0 against PSG. This Friday, the Burgundy club managed to score his first goal after four games without finding the fault against the Parisians. Better yet, Dijon scored for the first time in its history, two goals against Paris.
