In Copenhagen, Denmark, every everyday gesture is good for having the least possible impact on the environment. This involves school meals for Astar Rosa, a ten-year-old schoolgirl, custom-ordered with her mother to avoid waste. The girl chooses the dishes that attract her. The orders then go to a workshop, where everything is homemade with organic products.
This concept of food is only one aspect of the Copenhagen ecological plan. Objective: reach a carbon neutral carbon emission by 2025. A whole section of the town hall is dedicated to it, via the climate project. “We are working on 60 projects in our climate plan. The priority site is that of housing, in order to reduce energy consumption“says Jorgen Albilldgaard, the director.
