The scene is apocalyptic. In California (USA), a ranch is swept by flames, trapping a dozen horses. All around the enclosure, a wall of fire prevents them from escaping. In this valley east of Los Angeles, relief is busy, because time is running out. The fire must be extinguished before it reaches the animals. Then, owners brave all the dangers to get the animals out of the fire, one by one. All are finally saved in extremis. A little further, a dog and a flock of goats were delivered. The wind is still blowing, but the rescue operation is over.
On the other side of Los Angeles, a horse about to be evacuated turns around and rushes down the hill to join his companions and put them out of danger. In two days, this moving video has been viewed more than 10 million times.
