On Twitter, the head of the British government says he suffers from “mild symptoms”.
Two days after Prince Charles is another prominent British citizen who is affected by the coronavirus: Boris Johnson. “I have developed mild symptoms in the past 24 hours and have tested positive for coronavirus“wrote the Prime Minister on Twitter on Friday March 27.

Boris Johnson adds that he “stay confined “ but that he will continue “to lead the government's response by videoconference as we fight the virus”. Before concluding as follows: “Together, we will beat him.”
Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus.
I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus.

In a video posted on Twitter, Boris Johnson appears fit, sitting at his desk, in a tie suit. He explains that he had a fever and “persistent cough”. His partner Carrie Symonds, pregnant, is already in solitary confinement, following government orders.
Among the heads of state or government, only Prince Albert II of Monaco has tested positive for the moment, while German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have been placed in solitary confinement after being in contact with people who tested positive.
