It’s been a rumor that stirred social media for many days. In a message, a mother wrote that her son allegedly claimed to have entire stocks of masks in Woippy (Moselle), at his workplace, which would not be used until the government gave its consent. An ad shared thousands of times, but which turns out to be false.
There is indeed an industrial zone in this city, but which is not dedicated to this type of production. “We don't have a company that makes masks on Woippy. It's a shame to have this type of Firefox present in this context which is already very difficult”, annoys Mayor Cédric Gouth. A denial also confirmed by the Grand Est Regional Health Agency. The author of this false information has since deleted it. Unfortunately, it has had time to be shared almost 16,000 times.
