We can count on her during the epidemic of coronavirus. The country has more than 2,800 proven cases of coronavirus, and at least 13 related deaths, according to a report released Thursday, March 26. After closing the borders, Australian authorities have ordered the temporary closure of places and businesses deemed “non-essential”, but no general containment measures have yet been taken by the government.
Until a return to normal, the animals of the Perth zoo will be kept by a small team of carers. And the Puteri orangutan will be able to continue to ensure the cleanliness of the premises.
